  • Location- Ballarat / Hybrid Remote
  • Work Type- Part-time (2 days per week)
  • Duration - 8-week contract (Potential to extend)

Key Responsibilities within the Role

In this focused, short-term position, you will utilise your specialised payroll knowledge to assist the finance team with a critical project. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough reconciliations for the Defined Benefits Scheme.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in payroll data with high attention to detail.
  • Utilising advanced Excel functions to manipulate, analyse, and report on financial data.
  • Assisting the broader team with ad hoc payroll and administrative tasks as required.

What You Will Need to Succeed

To be successful in this fast-paced contract, you will bring a proven track record in payroll processing alongside strong analytical capabilities.

Key Skills Required:

  • Direct experience working with superannuation, specifically complex Defined Benefits Scheme reconciliations.
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills
  • Prior experience navigating public sector payroll frameworks, compliance standards, and enterprise agreements (highly regarded but not essential).
